1 Dead, 2 Hurt After Shooting Outside NYC Nightclub

NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub has left one woman dead and two others injured.

Investigators are looking for the gunman after the bloodshed around 4 a.m. Monday outside Motivo, in the Flatiron District.

Police say the gunman left the club after a dispute and was overheard saying he would return with a gun. They say he came back some time later, began shooting and fled in a car.

A 24-year-old woman was shot in the back. She died at a hospital.

A 30-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder, and a 25-year-old woman was hit in the hip and foot. Both are in serious but stable condition.

It wasn't immediately clear whether the gunman knew the victims.

Motivo's management hasn't immediately responded to phone and email messages.
