Terry Bradshaw on Jerry Jones' Handling of Greg Hardy: 'This Is Wrong'

Several among the NFL media community have taken the opportunity this week to speak out against Greg Hardy, the Dallas Cowboys and the league, after the defensive end's return from suspension. Most recently, it was FOX Sports' Katie Nolan, who called Hardy a "garbage human" and took shots at the team, the league and the media in a 3.5-minute video.

Today, Terry Bradshaw, former quarterback and analyst for FOX's NFL studio coverage, became the latest to let his voice be heard.

"Anybody, in my opinion, that lays a hand on a woman -- I don't care who you are, my friend -- you never come back in this league," he said during the network's pregame coverage. He said that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has basically become "an enabler himself," in allowing Hardy to play despite being found guilty of two counts of domestic violence -- and never once apologizing for his acts.

As a refresher: Those acts included throwing his then-girlfriend into a bathtub, threatening to kill her, grabbing her by her neck (hard enough to leave visible marks), dragging her around the house and throwing her onto a couch covered in rifles, which, he bragged, were loaded.

In his first appearance in front of media as a Cowboy, Hardy failed to take responsibility for his acts and apologize, but instead said that he hoped to come out "guns blazing" this week, and expressed excitement to play in front of Tom Brady's wife and her sister.

"Greg Hardy had to pretend to respect women for 12 minutes," Nolan said on Garbage Time last week, "and he couldn't even do that. And what's worse: No one stopped him."

Sunday, Hardy will make his first NFL appearance since details of his actions went public more than a year ago. Credit to FOX for doing its best to bring attention to why this is a problem.
