Last night, Rebecca Minkoff and AOL BUILD teamed up to offer viewers an exclusive look at the iconic designers' Athleisure collection -- envisioned for the everyday woman who wants to feel stylish both inside and outside of the gym. Each piece is designed with performance and functionality in mind, making the collection a no-brainer for working out and lounging in style.

Of course the full Athleisure look isn't complete without an equally chic hairstyle to match.

Warren Tricomi's very own Edward Tricomi stayed true to Rebecca Minkoff's Athleisure roots, by styling model's hair as if they were headed back home from the gym. Messy top knots and slicked back dos were the two hair highlights of the night. As Tricomi notes, the latter look is inspired by reimagining the post-workout shower, making it so that women can easily take the look from the gym to a night out. His secret weapon in his hair arsenal? By washing your locks with their conditioner, your hair will feel fresh when you head to late night cocktail hours and dinner dates.

We've recreated the stunning look in a few simple steps, so you can achieve the effortlessly cool, sleek hairstyle for yourself.

ALTERNA Haircare Bamboo Volume Weightless Whipped Mousse, $22; Drybar Buttercup Blow Dryer, $195; Agave Healing Oil Natural Bamboo Paddle Brush, $25; Living Proof Flex Hairspray, $24; Bumble and bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse, $30. All products are available at Sephora.com

1. Dry hair so it's damp but not too wet. After, run a bit of mousse -- we recommend ALTERNA and Bumble and bumble's top-rated picks -- through the crown your head to create the wet look while also adding in a dose of texture to your roots.

2. Once your hair is mostly air-dried, blow dry the ends to smoothen and straighten out your locks.

3. Then gently smooth it over hair with a wide-set paddle brush to get rid of bumps or tangles. For extra volume, push hair up a bit at the crown of the head.

4. Using a spritz or two of long-hold hairspray to the paddle brush, lightly drag the brush over hair again to set it in place!
