Cat may have saved suspect's life in stand-off
A man dangling from a San Francisco building during a stand-off with police has his cat to thank for possibly saving his life.
The incident began with a California Highway Patrol traffic stop, according to police the car the suspect was in was stolen, which is probably why the man took off running on foot.
KRON news reports the driver jumped a fence and into a two-story building where he remained for a few hours perched shirtless, barefoot and threatening to jump.
A crowd gathered as police attempted to talk the man down with no luck. Until a family member brought the suspect's orange tabby cat to the scene.
The plan worked, because who can resist a furry friend?
SFPD credited the feline for the peaceful resolution to the stand off and the man was taken into custody.
Look at these kittens because, well, why not?
