Fetty Wap wet for No. 1 debut on Billboard 200 albums chart

Fetty Wap's self-titled debut album is on course for a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest the rapper's set -- which was released Sept. 25 through RGF/300 Entertainment -- may move upwards of 110,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 2.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the Oct. 17-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Fetty Wap will likely debut at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard's web sites on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Drake and Future's current Billboard 200 chart-topper, What a Time to Be Alive, may fall to the No. 2 slot after its No. 1 debut (and a start of 375,000 units).

Other albums aiming for a big start on the Billboard 200 include a trio of country albums from Don Henley (Cass County), George Strait (Cold Beer Conversation) and Thomas Rhett (Tangled Up). All three titles are heading for a start of around 75,000 units.
