Jessica Chastain just killed it on the red carpet

We're huge fans of Jessica Chastain over here.
She's hella talented. But beyond that, she's just an amazingly warm person, one who actually takes the time to connect with those around her. Which makes her very similar to her latest costar, Matt Damon.
Also, she's easy on the eyes. Here she is at the London premiere of The Martian, in Elie Saab.
So, we hooked up with her makeup artist, Mary Greenwell, to get the secret to Chastain's flawless look.

The key? "Those incredible earrings. They were so powerful. The dress was inspired by the earrings. The inspiration was about making her look very simple and very beautiful. It was about giving her beautiful skin, and playing up her natural beauty," says Greenwell. "We wanted to keep her lips to a minimum. Her eyes were so strong. We kept her mouth more neutral."
It helps that Chastain is a total pro in the makeup chair
"Jessica is so easy to work with. She's very generous and patient. I don't exaggerate. She's so patient and sits so still. She understands the process of makeup and hair. She loves to be there. You don't feel that she'd rather be somewhere else," says Greenwell.
So, for the rest of us mortals, what's the key to looking like Chastain?
"She's one of the most incredible beauties of the moment. First of all, dye your hair auburn red. Never go in the sun. Keep your skin fresh and gorgeous," says Greenwell.
