The TSA Is Worse Than You Thought...


Shadi Petosky, a transgender woman, was detained at the Orlando airport on Monday after TSA allegedly thought "her body parts didn't match her gender identity."

Petosky told NBC News, "I stepped into the full body scanner, the TSA agent looked at me and pressed the F button...The scanner picked up an 'anomaly' in my crotch area."

Comedian Tig Notaro, as well as transgender advocate Jenni Boland, tweeted about the situation to their thousands of followers. TSA responded and released this statement.
