While companies are experimenting with fast drone delivery in different countries to expedite the logistics process to a matter of minutes, a parcel that was sent more than 30 years ago was finally delivered in Australia. The Viewbank Tennis Club claims that they ordered the package containing embroidered uniform patches in the 1970s. This is the post that the club uploaded on their Facebook page:


Australia Post delivers after 30 or so years! This package was finally delivered after being found behind old machinery at an Australia Post office after they moved. It was dutifully delivered to the original recipient, who just happened to live in the same house, and passed on to us at Viewbank Tennis Club!

Luckily, the original recipient still lived in the same house and the package was delivered "successfully" by the Australia Post. Seven News tracked down the club and spoke to the people who received the parcel after so many years:
