Twenty-two years ago on September 16, 1993, the television phenomenon "Frasier" premiered in the United States. The show was met was immediate praise — everyone and their mother loved the story of fancy pants Dr. Frasier Crane, his uptight brother Niles, and their blue-collar father, Martin.

"Frasier" is a spinoff of "Cheers," which continues on the story of Dr. Crane after a nasty divorce from his wife in Boston, and tumultuous move back to Seattle.

"Frasier" is one of the most critically acclaimed comedies in the history of television, winning 37 Emmys during its 11 seasons on air. The show was broadcast on NBC from September 16, 1993 to May 13, 2004.
