Although Russia's President, Vladimir Putin says he and his people "love Elton John's music"...he probably can't say the same about Sir Elton's lifestyle choices.

Over the weekend, Elton John met with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko to advocate on behalf of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. After the conference, John told BBC that Putin was next on his list.

Sir Elton is critical of Russia's "anti-gay" stance — including the 2013 law that prosecutes private individuals who promote homosexual behavior to minors. To this, the singer retorted, "Give me a break...You are President of Russia, and you go and say stupid things like that?"

It is unclear whether or not this meeting will actually happen, but one can dream!
