Monique Lhuillier's spring 2016 collection was a colorful display of bold structure
Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week collection was as youthful and vibrant as the front row audience. With Bella Thorne, Ashley Madakwe, Jamie Chung and Gillian Jacobs clad in colorful tea-length frocks, bright floral prints and velvet-fused getups, it was clear that Lhuillier's brand is attracting beautiful, fun-loving millennial consumers these days.

Lhuillier, who is probably best known for her wedding gowns, didn't shy away from the bold colors this season. With bright poppy, cotton-candy pink, emerald green and royal blue silk gazar numbers, Lhuillier's spring collection features only the brightest and boldest - with a few subtle black and white numbers thrown into the mix. The bright colors were expertly paired with an architectural, geometric theme. From sculptural shift dresses to bustier tops and jacquard A-line skirts, the strong geometric appeal of the runway was hard to miss.

The designer also hung geometric cut-outs from the ceiling that changed color to match the runway themes. The cut-outs perfectly tied together the two overarching themes of the collection and provided and extra dose of entertainment for audience members.

We can't wait to see today's hottest young stars sporting Lhuillier's artsy paint-splatter print gowns, structural tunics over skinny jacquard flares, and silk gazar shifts on the red carpet this spring. We're sure they'll follow Lhuillier's lead by matching their shoes to their outfits with embellished sandals and jewel-clad wedges. Spring 2016 will be a bold season indeed for Monique Lhuillier lovers.
