Alyssa Milano is all about putting family first.

AOL.com sat down with Milano while promoting her new chic line of Viva® Signature Designs Towels to discuss what it's like being a working mother and how she balances work and family time with her busy schedule.

"It's no joke being a working mom," Alyssa confessed. "Everyday is a balancing act -- some days I do it better than others, but they are my priority."

And that has meant turning down her starring role in "Mistresses" after the show moved to Toronto, in order to be with her children and husband, talent agent David Bugliari. "It wasn't hard at all," she revealed. "Because the most important thing is my family, and that just doesn't mean my kids but also my husband and keeping the marriage healthy."

Mom to 1-year-old daughter, Elizabella and 4-year-old son, Milo, the actress dished that a "normal" day for her means getting up at 6:15 a.m. to breastfeed, make breakfast, and get Milo ready for school.

But the real craziness, she says, is when everyone is back home in time for dinner then bath time -- "You know, the normal, typical mom schedule."

Something not-so-typical though, is her fabulous role on Lifetime's "Project Runway: All Stars", set to premiere in February. Surrounded by a group full of talented budding designers and the brilliant Isaac Mizrahi, she feels lucky to be able to go to work everyday and be around so much talent and creativity.

"It's kind of a dream job," she said. "You get to go to work, you get to wear incredible clothes, get your hair and makeup done by the best of the best, and sit there and look at fashion all day."

This is what my happiness looks like.
