Banana Republic's cool and classy Spring 2016 presentation

Updated

If there's one brand that knows wearable spring fashion, it's Banana Republic. Sticking to traditional spring colors like bright orange and hot pink, the brand stayed true to its identity with pieces that were stylish and functional for the everyday man and woman.

The Spring 2016 collection was infused with personality, however, despite that it played the design game relatively safe. For example, Banana paired two-piece suits with vibrantly patterned smoking slippers in red and purple hues and turned a conventional garden party dress into a crop top and circle skirt set. There were other fun looks too, like leather shorts worn with a trench coat and styles that mixed multiple busy patterns.

The presentation itself embodied a fun, cocktail party atmosphere, with enough champagne, margaritas and finger food to go around. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night, if you ask us, and we can't wait to wear Banana Republic's upcoming pieces this spring!
