Betsey Johnson's costume party was a blast

The Betsey Johnson show was basically a big, fun, fashion party! The models danced rather than walked down the runway wearing fearless styles and with crazy confidence.

There was an array of bright colors, bold patterns and over-the-top styling, plus all the models rocked cool and crazy rainbow eye shadow looks with big retro hair!

In true Betsey fashion, it was a production rather than a show, with specific mini collections and segments. The show was split into five of these segments, and each one stopped and started with a voiceover narrative from Miss Betsey herself! The mini collections ranged from seventies vibes to sixties style and even included a full-out costume party!

Overall, there was no shortage of rainbow brights, pattern mixing and lots of lots of tulle! But we also saw some really fun sophisticated looks and chic seventies dresses that could be worn right off the runway! The best part was that there was something for everyone, which is so much fun!

The show ended with the signature Betsey cartwheel-into-the-splits and a big runway dance party with giant balloons. It was so amazing to watch a be a part of that I got kind of emotional.
