Betsey Johnson turns her Spring 2016 show into a colorful party

Betsey Johnson's Spring 16 collection took us on a tour of the 60s, 70s and 80s proper, paired with the music of the time and crimped hair. Dedicated to her childhood dance teacher, Ann K. Pimm, a series of six chapters, broken up by a hilarious nursery rhyme narration, Betsey danced her models through Limelight to Kansas City.

What colors weren't present for Spring 16? From metallic fuchsia to prairie-girl brown, floral prints and electric plaid. Betsey's collection has something for every type of girl - as long as she's funky.

This show was more of a time capsule being unearthed than contemporary invention. It was historically accurate, colorful, entertaining and a whole lot of fun. I wonder what Ann K. Pimm was really like in real life - if this show was any indication, she may have been even be more interesting than Betsey herself!
