NBC announced Tuesday morning that Clinton will appear be interviewed by Jimmy Fallon in Studio 6B on Sept. 16. A late-night first for the former Secretary of State since announcing her White House bid in April, it follows a flurry of of other high-profile TV spots.

Fallon certainly won't suffer a lack of topics to bring up with Clinton. He's interviewing controversial GOP candidate Donald Trump on Sept. 11. (New Jersey governor Chris Christie appeared at the end of August.)

Late night is getting very political as both parties look to start thinning the herd in anticipation of next year's primaries. Jeb Bush is set to sit down with Stephen Colbert on his CBS Late Show debut Tuesday night, and rumored potential presidential candidate Vice President Joe Biden is booked for Sept. 10.
