Chelsea Clinton Is Asked About Kanye West Running for President and Her Perspective May Surprise You

We still have another 14 months until we even vote for the next President of the United States, yet we are somehow already talking about 2020!

At the VMA's last month, Kanye West announced he would be running for president while accepting his Van Guard Award. Shortly thereafter, fans and celebs alike loved the idea and even proposed that Taylor Swift join him as his VP, #KanTay2020.

Just recently, Chelsea Clinton spoke with MTV News about the Clinton Foundation's No Ceilings Project, where she was asked about the thought of Kanye running. Since her father was president and her mother very well could be the first female president, it's safe to say she knows a little what she is talking about, and she isn't completely against it...sort of.

"I definitely think who runs for office is really important," she told MTV News. "Even if him just saying that helps sparks a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, 'Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,' that's awesome."

If the whole Taylor Swift thing doesn't work out, could we see Kanye and Chelsea on the same ticket? You never know!
