Photo Of Chicago Cop Buying Homeless Man Meal At Chipotle Goes Viral
On Thursday, Rachel Mitchell saw something that touched her deeply and she shared it on Facebook.

What she witnessed was a Chicago Police officer buying a meal at Chipotle for a homeless man.

On social media, she shared how the officer had seen the man outside digging through the trash looking for food.

At his urging, the individual came into the restaurant, ordered a meal, and the officer picked up the tab.

The two then shook hands and went their separate ways.

After the story started spreading, the officer was identified as Sergeant B. Hagarty, a 35-year member of the force.

The Chicago Police Department noted in a Facebook post, "He did not think he had done anything out of the ordinary. He did not want to brag about what he had done."
