Snorkelers Witness Incredible Moment Humpback Whale Breaches with Calf

INSIDE EDITION -- These snorkelers were in for an incredible treat in the waters of Hawaii.

Footage taken from above the water near Kaupulehu shows a humpback whale calf swimming closely beside its mother and twisting and turning through the waves.

Then, in an astonishing moment captured on a GoPro, the whale breaches and jumps into the air.

The footage was shared as part of a commercial for GoPro. The company credited Fabin Jobin and Anders Carlson for capturing the "jaw-dropping" footage.

It's not the first time the camera company has featured amazing creatures: previous campaigns have starred a grizzly bear slapping the camera and close encounters with elephants.
