Woman finds a hidden camera in her hotel room's shower

Twenty-three-year-old Harmony Hachey was staying at the Oxford Wheatley Travelodge hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland, when she found something rather alarming.

The young women went to use her hotel room's shower, when she found a camera in the shower's vent, pointing directly at her as she stood there nude.

Hachey had just planned on staying at the hotel for a weekend vacation with colleagues when she made the discovery last Friday. She recalls the situation saying:

She made sure to take photos of the device, and she traced the USB cable of the camera to the cleaning closet that was behind her room.

After telling the hotel manager about the situation, the police were called, and they investigated Hachey's photos as well as the device. The hotel's upper management later claimed that the camera was placed in the shower for "maintenance reasons," but after switching rooms, Hachey was offered a full refund for her stay.
