A step-by-step guide to preparing your watermelon party trick:

Make sure you have not one -- but two -- watermelons handy.

Start slicing the green peel off the outside of one of the watermelons.

Tip: Try using a knife from this colorful knife set -- it's an Amazon best seller.

This is how it should look after slicing most of the green off of the outside of the first watermelon.

Continue slicing away the white coating so that the first watermelon is all pink.

Take a scrubber to take away any uneven edges on the spherical watermelon. Think of it like sanding wood with sandpaper.

Now it's time for your second watermelon.

Slice it in half.

Cut the second watermelon on each half any way you want -- scoring it with your knife is one way to do it.

Scoop out the scored watermelon into a serving dish -- your guests can eat this! (It's not needed for the rest of the trick.)

Take the back of your spoon to scrape out the remaining pink watermelon.

When you're done with this, you should have two empty shells and a full, spherical watermelon.

Put the full watermelon into the first empty shell.
