Hammerhead Shark Circles Kayaker

A Hammerhead shark gets too close for comfort for some kayakers off La Jolla in the Pacific Ocean. Look at these amazing pictures of a hammerhead shark up to ten feet long. That's as long as their kayaks circling them ominously for what must have seemed liked hours.

All the kayakers could do was sit motionless and try to wait out the hammerhead. The tactic worked as they escaped unharmed but only after the shark followed them all the way to shore before turning back.
