NSFW: Miley Cyrus's jaw-dropping outfits at the 2015 MTV VMAs

True to her chart-topping hit, Miley Cyrus came in like a "Wrecking Ball" at the 2015 VMAs with her choice of jaw-dropping outfits!

The host kicked-off the night with an unbelievably risqué Barbarella-inspired number on the red carpet. Miley wore a silver suspender ensemble – and that was pretty much it! The "Party in the USA" singer capped off her nearly-naked look with a high ponytail, silver knee-high boots and a jeweled "skirt" that really didn't cover much of anything.

Her racy first look was definitely a forewarning of what the rest of the night would bring.

For her opening monologue, Miley brought all the power to the term "flower power" with a 70s-inspired sparkly jumpsuit complete with a flower bolero.

Her following outfit – if we could even call it that – took a cue from the 60s in a white cut-out dress with pom-pom details and a furry scrunchie. It was what one might call, minimalist.

But those were just a warm-up.

The pop star's next ensemble may be considered the most conservative of the night. All eyes were on Cyrus – literally – as she hit the stage wearing eyes as a bra, a mouth skirt and an orange visor. She kept her white knee-high boots from her previous look.

And in her most memorable outfit, Ms. Cyrus really out-did herself in a plastic dress that was a nip-slip waiting to happen with buttons that happened to cover all the right places.

Then, Miley channeled Britney Spears circa 2000 with a head-to-toe hot pink costume that featured wide-legged pants, a harness barely covering her breasts and flamin' hair to match.

Oh, but wait – it gets better!

After Justin Bieber's emotional performance, the host lightened the mood with a jacket decked out with enough tinsel to last us a couple of Christmases. The crowd went wild after she ripped the jacket off revealing a scandalous holographic leotard.

And then, Miley was totally inspired by the LGBT pride flag.

Then there was this sparkling number, which featured mirrored sections and tights on the bottom. Miley clearly doesn't care what the haters think.

But of course, the star closed out the night with an epic performance in a flamboyant costume (with more eyes) before announcing that she's dropping her newest album online for free!

It's safe to say Miley Cyrus lived up to expectations, and more, as the host of the 2015 VMAs – but she would say she's just being Miley.
