A Google Street View Car got stuck in a tomato-throwing festival

Google Street View Brings Images Via Camel Camera


"La Tomatina," a yearly Spanish festival that brings thousands of people together as they throw 150 tons of tomatoes at each other, got a special guest: a Google Street View Car.

While Google probably wanted to get some extremely immersive footage from the crowd's perspective, putting a car through the mass of people who swarm the streets on that day was probably not the best idea. People climbed over the car and it became part of the battle as we see from the photos that some tomato throwers posted on Twitter:
