Queen B dethroned as most followed person on Instagram
All hail Kim Kardashian.
Yes, Kim Kardashian has done the unthinkable and dethroned Beyoncé as the most followed person on Instagram.
According to Tech Insider, Kim K. quietly slipped past Beyoncé overnight, hitting 44,005,604 followers. Meanwhile, Beyoncé is now in second place with a mere 43,935,64. As it may seem like a shock, which it kind of is, Kim has been inching up on Beyoncé for the past few days.

At a quick glance it looks like the two accounts are similar in that they both post pis of themselves and share photos of their family and loved ones. However, the difference Tech Insider points out, Kim manages to post more often and usually included lengthy, heartfelt caption, where as Beyoncé tends to just post pictures.
