The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) has lined up its first honorees for the 2015 British Academy Britannia Awards: Meryl Streep, Sam Mendes and James Corden.

Presented by American Airlines and scheduled for Oct. 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the awards show will present Streep with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film, Mendes with the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing presented by The GREAT Britain Campaign, and Corden with the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year presented by Burberry.

Additional honorees will be announced at a later date. Notable TV and event production company Done + Dusted will produce this year's telecast.

Streep, currently on screen in Ricki and the Flash and upcoming in Suffragette, joins a list of previous recipients including Robert Downey Jr., George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Daniel Day Lewis, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, George Lucas, Sean Penn, Steven Spielberg and Denzel Washington.

Mendes, who directed the upcoming Bond installment Spectre, also joins a list of distinguished helmers who have taken home the Schlesinger Britannia Award, among them Mike Newell, Danny Boyle, Christopher Nolan, David Yates, Quentin Tarantino and Kathryn Bigelow.

Meanwhile, the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year trophy is presented to a talent who "represents the best of British talent" and Burberry favorite Corden fits the bill thanks to his hosting work on The Late Late Show with James Corden and his acting work in Into the Woods. Emma Watson, Daniel Craig, Kate Winslet, Tilda Swinton, Helena Bonham Carter, Emily Blunt, Michael Sheen and Rachel Weisz have previously won the award.

"Once again, we are delighted to kick off the 2015 Awards calendar with a show that celebrates the enduring collaboration between the British and American media industries. This partnership has consistently produced artistry at an outstanding level. The honorees we announce today exemplify that tradition and their presence will undoubtedly supercharge what is looking to be one of the most exciting shows we have ever mounted," said BAFTA Los Angeles chairman Kieran Breen.
