Talk about a daring shot! Jason Blum and his son travelled through Colorado earlier in the year, in hopes of spotting a tornado forming. What they found was even more incredible.
Instead of finding a tornado, the father son duo witness a tornado swirling into a rainbow. Blum works as a paramedic, and "chases storms" in his free time. His 14-year-old son, ironically named "Chase" has inherited the family love for storms, and loves to accompany his dad on these adventures. After driving 900 miles to the storm in Colorado, they were able to capture this shot...and we're glad they did:

"Tornadoes are incredible and can be beautiful to behold but they can also turn into deadly monsters with just a slight turn in direction, or just by staying on the ground a minute too long. I've seen both extremes."
