Aerie officially releases unretouched ad campaign featuring Emma Roberts

Updated

Aerie's new campaign, #AerieREAL, focuses on loving your body and its imperfections, and Emma Roberts, the campaign's new cover girl, openly identifies with that struggle.

The actress told Whowhatwear.com that she was made fun of for being short and she was always the shortest person in her class.

She also admitted that she used to get spray tans a lot because she was often teased for being pale. "I embrace being short and pale," she said. "I had a unibrow until fourth grade."

When it comes to beauty, Roberts said:

%shareLinks-quote="To me, the most beautiful people are the people who embrace their "flaws," people who just own what they have." type="quote" author="Emma Roberts" authordesc="" isquoteoftheday="false%
