Sure, rainy days ruin our picnic plans, frizz up our hair, and freeze our toes. However, the most frustrating thing about rainy days is losing our ability to text and walk outdoors, amiright? As we try to balance a pesky, flimsy umbrella in one hand, we seriously struggle in our attempts to text bae. Our one-handed texting game is quite off point.

Alas, South Korean telecommunications company, kt design, has fixed this incredibly frustrating problem. The solution: Phone-brellas! On Monday, the product won top honors of 7,400 competitors at the Red Dot Design Awards. People really want to be able to text in the rain.

While the clutch accessory is currently offered as a limited-edition gift to select kt customers, we expect it become available to a plethora of consumers sooner rather than later. The epic Phone-brella features a C-shaped grip that can be worn around the user's wrist. The product rests against the user's shoulder and comfortably stays in place thanks to a counterweight at the bottom of the handle.

This isn't just a product we can stand by, it's one we can stand under. Thank you, phone-brellas, for feeding our texting addictions while keeping us dry. You're amazing.
