Happy birthday, John Stamos! Today, the dreamboat actor turned 52 years old.
Made famous through his role as Jessie Katsopolis on the ABC original sitcom "Full House," John Stamos became a household name as one of the most wildly popular actors in Hollywood. He played uncle Jessie on "Full House" for the series' duration from 1987 - 1995.
His resume doesn't end after his acting credits -- he's also a talented musician -- which he showcases in select episodes of "Full House." Stamos started learning drums when he was 4 years old. He even started his own band called Destiny, which played ticketed concerts at amusement parks, and various parties and events. As an adult, he played select performances with The Beach Boys dating back to 1985, in addition to his appearance in the band's video for "Kokomo."
Stamos performed in many music productions including Gore Vidal's "The Best Man" and the Broadway revival of "Bye Bye Birdie." In August of 2011, Stamos performed as Corny Collins in "Hairspray" at the Hollywood Bowl, alongside an all-star cast including Nick Jonas.
In recent news, Stamos was confirmed to reprise his role in the Netflix original reboot "Fuller House." The new series will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix at a TBD date in 2016.
