Kerry Washington goes au naturel for SELF fitness magazine cover, looks effortlessly stunning

Guess who's on the September cover of SELF magazine? Kerry Washington.

The 38-year-old "Scandal" actress looked absolutely incredible on the cover of the fitness publication in a green leotard, which showed off her fit physique.

Washington, who has been a longtime advocate for health and fitness, may spend her days filming at the White House as Olivia Pope, but she always has time for regular exercise and told the magazine she's obsessed with Pilates.

"I try to get it in so I can be back with my kid early. I have to take care of myself in order to live life the way I want to. It's important to have rest days. But in the long run, if I don't work out for, like, three days, I feel worse, not better," she revealed in her SELF spread.

But after welcoming her daughter Isabelle in 2014, the stunning star say she's not trying to live up to any wild Hollywood stereotypes about having a hot mom bod. "A few weeks ago, my manager asked: 'Do you feel like you're back? I feel like you're back.' She meant it as a total compliment, but we had this great conversation where I was like, 'You know what? I try really hard not to use that language, because it's not about going backward in life.'"

Washington said she's embraced her new body and has no desire to get her 'old' one back."I've been really focused on not being 'back' to anything, but being the best version of myself right now. My body is the site of a miracle now. I don't want to be pre-miracle."

That being said -- Washington looks pretty darn good. This morning, she took to Instagram to post a photo of her cover with the caption: "I'm so excited to share this becuz I've been a fan of @selfmagazine for a LONG time. Guess who's on the September cover..."
