News: 2 Americans charged with trying to join ISIS

  • A 19-year-old and 22-year-old in Mississippi were arrested on charged of trying to travel to Syria to join ISIS. They were both charged with attempting and conspiring to provide material to support the terrorist group.

Entertainment: Today is the one-year anniversary of Robin Williams' death

  • Robin Williams, the legendary comedian and actor committed suicide one year ago, on August 11, 2014. Celebrities are fans are paying tribute to Williams in honor of his life and the legacy he left behind.

Tech: Google to be part of new holding company, 'Alphabet'

  • Google is creating a new holding company called Alphabet -- a company that will give more independence to Google's wide-ranging and ambitious projects. This will include Internet search, mapping and YouTube as well as newer businesses and projects such as Google Fiber, Nest and Google Ventures.

Sports: NY Jets QB Geno Smith out 6-10 weeks after getting sucker punched by a teammate

  • The New York Jets' starting quarterback Geno Smith will miss the next 6-10 weeks due to a busted jaw injury that resulted from a locker room argument. IK Enemkpali, the 24-year-old linebacker for the Jets, "sucker-punched" Smith in the face, and after the incident, he was released from the team.

Lifestyle: Nabisco introduces another Oreo flavor

  • People are getting aggravated because Nabisco seems as if they are always rolling out a new Oreo flavor and it's starting to get excessive. The newly released flavor is brownie batter, but the company also recently announced Red Velvet and S'mores flavored Oreos, too.
