'About Ray' trailer: Elle Fanning stars in emotional transgender drama
About Ray documents Ramona's (Elle Fanning) emotional journey to becoming Ray.
The drama stars Fanning as Ramona, a boy who was born in a girl's body. The film focuses on Ramona's transgender transition into manhood and the effect it has on her family.
Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon and Tate Donovan round out the cast. Director Gaby Dellal worked on the story with Nikole Beckwith, who wrote the screenplay.
The movie is scheduled for release on Sept. 18. The trailer can be seen below.
