Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley expecting first baby
Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum and his wife, Cassie, are expecting their first baby.
Cassie announced the news in a blog post for Womanista, opening up about the couple's two-year struggle to conceive. "I don't know about other moms (or future moms!) out there but I just assumed that when we wanted to start a family, it would happen just like that. Well, it didn't," she wrote. "We went through several years of trying before finally seeing our fertility doctor in Nashville this past November."

That doctor told the couple they had a 1 percent chance of conceiving a child naturally. After the Kelleys took a few months off before figuring out their next step, they unexpectedly had a positive pregnancy test. "I was in shock. Happy shock, but shock. Our baby decided to join our family in God's time, which is always right," Cassie wrote.

Charles and Cassie have been married since 2009.
