NFLPA Releases Brady Appeal Testimony

As New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady fights the NFL over his four-game suspension surrounding Deflategate, documents pertaining to his appeal have been released. That includes plenty of personal e-mails from Tom Brady.

One that is particularly interesting appears to be in reference to Tom Brady's biggest rival on the football field, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Brady got an e-mail from his friend Kevin Brady that compared Brady to Manning on Grantland.com. Brady threw some shade at Manning, specifically the timer running out on his career.

Does Brady really think he is playing till he is 44, even 45 years old? Apparently he does.

Kind of sucks because Manning hasn't been anything beside supportive of Brady, declining to comment and reiterating his friendship with Brady.

"Like I said, I'll speak it as clearly and slowly as I can. He's my friend, he'll always be my friend," Manning said, via the AP. "I don't know what happened, I don't have much more than that for you."

Guess that friendship only goes one way.
