Thursday night was Jon Stewart's final 'Daily Show' appearance, and an outpouring of nostalgia has come about in the weeks leading up to the finale. USA Today's For The Win sat down with a unique guest for some very cool perspective.

"He was funny but he wasn't a clown," longtime William & Mary soccer coach Al Albert said of Stewart. "He was obviously quick-witted."

Stewart played at William & Mary from 1980 through 1983, progressing from walk-on to starter by his final year -- then known as Jon Leibowitz.

The coach ventures that Stewart will "doing something else after this, and we'll probably be proud of that, too." At this point, it's hard for anybody to disagree.
