CHICAGO (WGN) -- If you've spent any time out by the lake in recent days, or any body of water, you might notice the Chicago area is being bombarded by dragonflies.

But the reason behind the onslaught of the Green Darner, that's the very large and very fast dragonflies, can be found in the skies above: Rain.
