Cecil the lion lives on in beautiful tribute by 'Lion King' animator

It seems that everyone was affected by the loss of Cecil the lion, especially an animator from the Disney classic, "The Lion King."

Aaron Blaise, who was an animator on Disney movies such as "The Lion King," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Aladdin," created a blog post in remembrance of Cecil and what he represented. The time lapse video below shows the imagination of Cecil the lion in the form of Mufasa and his final resting place in the stars.

Blaise continued to express how much of an animal lover he was, and knew he wanted to do something special when he heard the news.

"As you may be able to tell I am a HUGE animal lover and it drives me crazy when I see these beautiful creatures destroyed for no good reason. In fact, I've decided to get personally involved and hopefully our efforts can help educate people and prevent these horrible things from happening in the future"

Accompanied with "Look at the stars. The great kings from the past look down upon us from those stars" a quote from "The Lion King," Blaise managed to create a piece of art that will be remembered for years to come.
