Marathon runners are an inspiration to our entire species. They defy our physical limitations and persevere through even the most exhausting of races, all the while raising money for important causes.
These runners are so inspiring that they motivate us to become just like them. However, after about 10 minutes on the treadmill, the motivation is replaced with cramps and loss of breath. Some of us just aren't cut out the marathon life.
But that's okay. There's another way to participate in a community-wide race that will raise money for worthwhile causes. The difference is that this race is only one mile and it includes a whole lot of alcohol. Sign us up!

It's called the Brew Mile and it's basically the best thing ever. Instead of water stations, these inspiring participants fuel up on cold beer four different times throughout the mile-long run. These races take place all around the United States.
Today was a good day. #brewmile #brewmilenyc

If you want to participate (who doesn't, amiright?), you can sign up for a race via the Brew Mile website. However, we suggest you safely train before jumping into the big event. Perhaps warm yourself up with a few beer bong chugs and maybe a round of slap cup in the weeks leading up to the race.
Party like you're at Brew Mile this weekend!
