North West takes after mom Kim Kardashian, adorably chooses not to smile in these family photos

Does North West get her serious side from her mom, Kim Kardashian?

The adorable 2-year-old posed for some family pictures at a surprise high school graduation party that radio host (and Keeping Up With the Kardashians executive producer) Ryan Seacrest threw for her aunts Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

And you could say little Nori looks a lot like her mom, lip pout and all!

Just take a look at the four generations of Kardashians in this photo, including Kim, her mom, Kris Jenner, and Kris' mom, Mary Jo Campbell.

And even though Kris and Mary Jo are all smiles, Kim and North have on their serious faces.

In fact, when her mom, grandma and great-grandma all give her a kiss, she still chooses not to crack a smile!

North's father, Kanye West, joined his wife for a non-smiling snap too. He actually explained why he won't smile back in January at the The Daily Front Row's First Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards.

"Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything. I looked at all these people's photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren't smiling," he told the crowd. "The paparazzi always come up to me, 'Why you not smiling?' and I think, not smiling makes me smile... When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn't look as cool."

But ultimately, you could say that his wife brings out the best in him.

There's that smile!
