Why Won't Japan Stop Illegally Hunting Whales?

While whaling is illegal in the European Union, Denmark continues this practice on the coasts of the Faroe Islands.

A shocking video surfaced from the village of Bøur, where a massive hunt took place and led to the killing of 150 pilot whales, turning the sea red with blood as locals pushed the animals close to shore and used harpoons and knifes to do the killing.

Activists from Sea Shepherd filmed the scene and posted it on YouTube.
