Obama Executive Order: Jon Stewart Can't Leave 'Daily Show'

President Obama stopped by "The Daily Show" on Tuesday. And it turns out, he's going to miss Jon Stewart just as much as everyone else when he leaves the show. But unlike the rest of us, he has a plan to do something about it.

"I'm issuing a new executive order. That Jon Stewart cannot leave the show," President Obama joked on "The Daily Show."

Unfortunately, Jon didn't seem too fond of the idea. Apparently, he sees it as more of a states' rights issue.

As per usual, Stewart poked fun at the Obama's critics, saying he didn't have much time left to "take away Americans guns and declare Marshall law," as some suggested he would.

The outgoing duo also joked about having senioritis. Although Jon can afford to be a bit less focused, since he has less than a month until his final show, and Obama still has almost eighteen months left in office.

Not to mention that the President's job is just a little bit more important.

He spoke at length with Stewart about the recent Iranian nuclear deal. Pretty serious stuff for Comedy Central.

But of course, Stewart still managed to shoehorn a few laughs in there.

"What you said about the Iran pact was excellent, and once the Senate shoots it down, we'll talk about it again," Stewart said.

We'll miss you, Jon.
