The Unstoppable Power of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been surprising fans left and right during her 1989 World Tour with a slew of guest stars, including Lorde, "Jealous" singer Nick Jonas and all of her Victoria's Secret besties. But could celebrated English actors Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart be the ones to hit the stage next?

On Thursday, McKellen showcased his immeasurable talents with an amazing dramatic reading of Swift's "Bad Blood," proving once again that he's just the coolest.

The 76-year-old Lord of the Rings star, who was promoting his upcoming film Mr. Holmes, also brought his iconic gravitas to Bruno Mars' hit "Uptown Funk," because sometimes the world can be a wonderful place.

McKellen's long-time friend and X-Men co-star Patrick Stewart also showed his appreciation for Swift during a taping of the NPR quiz show Ask Me Another, where he recited the lyrics to "Blank Space" and contestants had to guess which song he was presenting.

Stewart, in his inimitable brilliance, turned the catchy pop tune into an almost Shakespearean tale with a booming, bombastic delivery that goes to show how amazing it would be if Stewart released an entire CD of pop covers.

After McKellen's dramatic reading hit the web, Stewart took to Twitter to ask Swift if they could "join the squad."

It didn't take long for Swift to take notice, thanking the two legendary thespians for giving her lyrics a new life, writing, "You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals."
