Now that Amy Schumer's a regular at awards shows and other high-profile events, she's bringing her particular brand of humor with her, sometimes playing pranks on unsuspecting celebrities like Katie Couric.

The Trainwreck star told Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday's Tonight Show that she was seated with Couric, Mindy Kaling and Stephen Colbert at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

In the middle of Schumer and Kaling's unspoken competition to see who could eat more bread (which Schumer says she won), Couric's new husband, John Molner, showed up uninvited.

And when the journalist left the table to talk to him, she left her phone open to texts from him.

"Don't worry I didn't do anything," Schumer said. "Except I picked it up and I just, without even thinking, I text him 'I want to have anal tonight.' And I sent it."

Continuing as Fallon rolls his chair away, Schumer said, "It just, it happened so fast. And I show Mindy and I go, 'Look what happened' and she's like, 'What do you mean 'what happened'?' You did that. And I show Colbert, and he is on the floor laughing."

But maybe her joke worked? Schumer explained that 90 seconds later Couric and Molner return to the table and Couric says, "So we're leaving. I don't know why he wants to leave."

"She loves humor!" Schumer said, in her defense, recalling what Couric told her ahead of the event.

Schumer said she also harasses Bradley Cooper whenever she sees him at events, including at the Time 100 gathering of its most-influential people, where she memorably pretended to fall in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

The Trainwreck star said that even though guests at the Time 100 event included "Ebola fighters...;making a real difference," she wanted to talk to Cooper, who's "made a difference for me."

She recalled: "I'm like, 'Oh my God, you save lives? Cool. Bradley!'"

She also commented on Fallon's hand injury, calling it "so gross to look at!"

"At least if you'd lost the finger it would have been a cool story," Schumer said.

Schumer and Fallon also demonstrated their acting ability -; playing condescending, tipsy and "horny and scared" -; in an "Emotional Interview."
