Majestic eagle fights 2 seagulls in this epic battle over Alaska

Remember the photos of a crow riding a flying eagle that came out a while ago? Now the eagle strikes back.

Photographer David Canales shot an incredible photo of an eagle fighting two seagulls in an epic battle through the sky.

Canales was kayaking in Prince William Sound when he took the photo, which was shared on the U.S. Department of the Interior's Twitter account:

According to the Huffington Post, after the social channels exploded with questions about who won the fight, the agency commented that "the gull above the eagle gave up and the other one wasn't able to free itself."

It was definitely a big improvement for the eagle's ego since this other episode:
