Similarly to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that left 167 dead, we must also remember the 1993 Mumbai serial bombing — the most deadly bomb explosions in India's history.

The 1993 bombings were a series of 13 bomb explosions that took place in Mumbai, India on March 12, 1993. The single-day attacks resulted in over 250 fatalities.

The 13 explosions were ordered by Indian crime lord, Dawood Ibrahim. Ibrahim is "India's most wanted man," and is currently in-hiding.

At the forefront of the execution of Ibrahim's terror plot was Yakub Memon. The 53-year-old was found guilty of conspiracy in 2007.

He is likely to be hanged on July 30, the first execution related to the Mumbai blasts.
