Dogs may be a man's best friend, but burritos are his soulmate. That's why San Francisco-based writer David Sikorski didn't feel any jealousy or resentment when his Facebook newsfeed became littered with engagement and wedding photos. He wasn't the odd man out at all because he had his trusted burrito to call his own.

Sikorski only has eyes for one burrito these days. He and the carne asada burrito from Taqueria La Cumbre have been spending almost all of their time together. Therefore, Sikorski and his burrito took to the San Francisco landmarks and documented their everlasting love.

Sikorski knows that true love means wanting to see the world together. Instead of buying each other expensive gifts, the lovebirds spend their time and money exploring the city.

Sikorski documented the epic duo strolling down Ocean Beach, riding the cable cars, and posing in front of the Ferry Building. They shared a romantic bottle of champagne in Alamo Square and took in the breathtaking Palace of Fine Arts.

Along the way Sikorski got a bit hungry. No worries though, after munching on his beloved burrito, he brought his replacement burrito along for the remainder of the photoshoot. He explained:

"I got hungry from running around the city all day and dealing with the intoxicating aroma of my favorite burrito."

Aw, how sweet. The lovebirds just can't keep their hands off of each other. They're like a pair of crazy teenagers!

Sikorski hopes his chronicles of his burrito-loving life will inspire others to be happy with any cards they're dealt right now. He said:

"Some people are going out and getting married and others are fine just enjoying a good burrito."

We hope Sikorski and his burrito live a happy and healthy life together.
