New artist Alessia Cara performs acoustic cover of Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood'
Canadian singer Alessia Cara is an up-and-comer with her debut single "Here" -- a song dedicated to living the wallflower life and owning it. She's about to receive a whole lot of attention, after Taylor Swift noticed (and praised) her recent cover of "Bad Blood."
The 18-year-old singer performed Swift's single for BBC Radio 1's Piano Sessions. The singer used only an acoustic guitar accompanied by a piano. She rapped Kendrick Lamar's rhymes with ease and sailed through the melody of the chorus. The cover was so impressive that Taylor herself tweeted about it ... of course, Cara was absolutely starstruck.
@taylorswift13 HOLD ON. WAIT. WAIT. I'm just gonna go to sleep and reawaken to make sure this is real life hold ON
