Adam Sandler's Netflix comedy 'Ridiculous Six' gets release date
Netflix has set a Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 release date for Ridiculous Six, its Adam Sandler comedy that is among the high-profile movies the streaming service is making as a big push into feature filmmaking.
Also getting release dates are Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, which will open theatrically in China, on Imax and on Netflix globally in first quarter of 2016, as well as Pee-wee's Big Holiday, which will premiere on the digital subscription service in March 2016.
First up, however, will be Beasts of No Nation, the Cary Fukunaga drama staring Idris Elba. That movie will premiere Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 worldwide on Netflix. At the same time, however, the movie will hit theatres domestically via distribution company Bleecker Street.
