BYU football recruit Charles West was shot outside of a Texas middle school on Sunday, according to police. Tuesday, a YouTube video emerged, showing the shooting caught on camera.

West is shown fleeing form the shooter, who fired six times. West was struck once in the arm, was admitted to a hospital and released hours later.

The 18-year-old was playing basketball outside of Coppell Middle School East when the shooter arrived and eventually chased him. The last time West made the news was in February, when he was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after being accused of sexually assaulting a sex worker.
